Choosing a Font
When Laying out a banner please take
into consideration that a San Serif Font
(Helvetica, Arial, Gill Sans)

or Semi-Serif (Optima, Copperplate)
reads better from afar.

A Serif font
(Century, Times, Palatino)
is best used for
small copy in a
newspaper or book
NOT SIGNAGE...


It is best to never use an Italic font or a Script font in a curved arc or in circular type.
